I wasopened in 1977, becomingthefirst golf course in themunicipality of Calviàandthesecond in Mallorca.

Situated on one of thebestestates in themunicipalitywithbeautifulviews of PuigGalatzó, it is a longcourse of 6,543 meterswith 18 holes (Par 72); the 10th hole (Par 5) is one of thelongest in Europe with 590 meters.

Thecourse has been host totheEuropeanTour seven timeswithplayerssuch as SeverianoBallesteros, Bernard Langer, José Mª Olazábal, Miguel A. Jiménez, JesperPartnevick, Lee Westwood, Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam, Vijay Singh, etc.

Theclub is completedby two morecourses (GOLF SANTA PONSA II – III) forexclusiveuseformembers.
